Will buy again. And again.
I can't find Rain-X washer fluid where I live that easily, so when I found out about this additive I jumped on it. Picked up a gallon water jug from the grocery store and I've been filling that when the washer fluid needs to be topped. Has a nice level indicator on the side, could be easier to read though. This additive provides really good water beading and improved my vision on highways under rainy conditions. Also the bug splats have been much easier to remove. Overall, I'm very satisfied and will buy again.

Install Flash Player How does Rain-X work? I don't know. Is it PTFE? Is it wax? Is it silicone? I don't care. It works. And if you are frugal, like me, this is what you will use. Saves wear & tear on wiper blades. Just drive fast enough in the rain, and the water will bead right off. Makes sense, right? It's raining. Drive faster. Save money on wipers. Collision repair won't kill you. The collision is what will kill you.

RAIN-X WASHER FLUID ADDITIVE IS A WORK SAVER
I have been a long time user of the Rain-X line. I used to apply it by hand & the results were amazing. It actually makes the surface of the windshield slippery somehow causing the rain to magically slide off of the glass surface with just the power of the wind. A friend told me about this Rain-X Washer Fluid Additive that you pour into your washer fluid bottle and each time you use your spray washers the Rain-X solution gets sprayed on the windshield saving me the hassle of manually applying it. What will they think of next? Great product!!!

THE BEST !
bought this product while living in the mountains in the Northeast. Harsh winters, dirty logging trails, rain, snow everything that muddles up a windshield. Now retired in SW Florida it's bird droppings and love bugs and other annoying critters. Not sure why the call this the " sunshine" w/ the wet seasons we've been having. The dust and pollen leave the windshield green and yellow. EVERY TIME I use my wipers I am grateful for this RAIN-X product. Does not harm the paint, and my wipers seem to last a lot longer. My house keepers use it on my sliding glass doors.

Cheaper in the long run
I just like this stuff because, when added to cheap windshield washer fluid (winter or regular style) it effectively complements the ordinary Rain-X job we do on our windshields a couple times a year. Bugs come off easier, raindrops roll off cleaner. I never noticed an improvement over that combination when we added Rain-X brand windshield *wiper blades* or when we buy the expensive Rain-X *washer fluid* itself. So we take a pass on those other Rain-X products and just stick with this additive in our fluid and an occasional Rain-X treatment (rub on, wait, wipe/buff off) on the glass itself.

Like a duck !
Really one of the best products ever. A properly treated and maintained Rainx'd windshield or side windows will shed rain easily, and more importantly in New England, doesn't allow the freezing rain or icing to stick to a cold car. Much easier to scrape my windows when the ice comes right off.

Excellent. Works as expected.
Works great as expected. Follow the instructions and ignore other reviewers who are complaining about it. All you have to do is add 4 Oz of it to a gallon of water or washer fluid, run your wipers to wash windshield and done. As you will use and wash windshield with wipers protection will build and remain.

Each bottle treats 4 gallons! So much easier (and cheaper)!!!
I've been a huge fan of Rain-X windshield washer fluid for over a decade. The trouble is most gas stations don't have it, and auto parts stores that do carry it often charge much more than standard washer fluid. I'd been biting the bullet and paying the surcharge for years, until I recently found this solution! Each bottle treats 4 gallons, so for just over $1 per gallon, I can get the cheapest windshield washer fluid available and add this to my car's tank to get the Rain-X treatment I want. It is much easier to keep a bottle of this in the car and find regular washer fluid than it is to find the Rain-X washer fluid, and in my case, I'm saving money to boot!

Water-bead technology... Yes please.
I got this mainly for the fact that it provides Water-bead technology. It extremely helps visibility when driving under heavy rain storms. Often times when it's just a moderate rainstorm, I have exceptional visibility due to the water-bead technology that I don't have my windshield wipers on. Unless I have other drivers in front of me then I'll switch them on low. I love using this stuff.

As good as original, less work
I usually use original RainX, but wanted to give this a try. There's a measure on the side of the bottle so you can see how much you've put in your reservoir. So, it's easy to not put in too much or two little. After just a few purposeful windshield washes (3-4 seconds of spray) over a two day period, the next rain beaded off the windshield just as if I applied the original RainX. I'm probably switching to this from now on... no more sore elbows from wiping original RainX on and off.
